Paul Freeman races in the World Rowing Indoor Championships…

I raced in BRIC (British Rowing Indoor Champs) on 5th December, and my time qualified me for WRIC (World Rowing Indoor Champs) on 24th February, both held virtually over internet and video links. My World race is on Youtube, see below (3hrs 9 minutes into the video). The race was won by a Frenchman in world record time for 65-69 lightweights; I was a long way behind! I set off too fast and faded at the end. But it was a great experience to race in real time against other guys of similar age and weight, from around the world.
